Introduction to the Portuguese Law Intensive Course – University of Lisbon School of Law – 6 to 10 Nov 2017

This week is being held an intensive course on the topic Introduction to the Portuguese Law, lectured by Professor Dr. João Tiago Silveira at the University of Lisbon School of Law.

Professor Dr. João Tiago Silveira is a public Law professor at this School, Vice-President of the Institute for Legal and Political Sciences, a researcher at Lisbon Centre for Research in Public Law,  namely in the  Rules for legal drafting in Portuguese-speaking countries/regions research project, board member of the International Association of Legislation and partner at the Law firm Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados.

The intensive course will be lectured in English and it will take place from 6 to 10 November, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

The intensive course is open no only to Portuguese and Erasmus students at the University of Lisbon School of Law but anyone who is interested in attending.

The intensive courses have a limited number of registrations and the course lectured by Professor Dr. João Tiago Silveira has no longer registration vacancies available.

The intensive courses at University of Lisbon School of Law are organized bt the Erasmus and International Relations Office and they have a duration of have a duration of 10 or 20 hours, allowing the students who attend and get approved to obtain, respectively, 3 or 6 ECTS.

The students who get 6 ECTS by attending and being approved in the intensive courses are given the possibility to use them to replace certain bachelor optional subjects lectured at the University of Lisbon School of Law.

The students who get 42 ECTS by attending and getting approval on these intensive courses and write a paper are given the possibility to complete the Erasmus Postgraduate programme in Updated European, Global and Comparative Law.
